Obviously, Sherlock Holmes faked his death in season 2's last episode, but there's no explanation, yet.

After browsing a couple of web pgs, and read that "there is a clue everybody's missed ...," now I suppose the lil girl's scream upon seeing Sherlock may be the hint. Perhaps the favor he asked Molly for was to make a "his face" and find some scapegoat/victim...
